Virgil Green

Tulare Union High School graduate Virgil Green has played for the Denver Broncos for two seasons.

In those two seasons, the tight end out of the University of Nevada has recorded eight catches for 87 yards.

Heading into his third season, Green is hoping to have more of an impact on the Denver Broncos offense.

With tight ends Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen both injured during training camp, Green is one of two tight ends hoping to take advantage of the extra repetitions during practice.

“It’s a huge opportunity. It gives both me and Julius the chance to show the coaches that we can operate at a high level, too, just like Joel and Tamme, because when you watch them, they are just flawless. Everything just looks so smooth. That’s the way Julius and I have to show the coaches we can perform as well.”
