The countdown of the 50 best Mountain West players — as well as the countdown to the start of the season — continues with the No. 10 spot going to Utah State center Tyler Larsen.

Yes, a center cracks the top-10, and that is because Larsen is going to be a future NFL Draft pick. Plus, he earned first-team all-WAC in 2011, 2012, is a first-team all-Mountain preseason selection and Phil Steele gave Larsen an All-American nod.

Larsen controls that offensive line and makes the calls which help keep the rest of the offense in line to be prepared for whatever the defense throws at this Utah State offensive line.
